Timid Boy

Proud representative of the French electronic scene, Damien Almira aka Timid Boy was discovered in 2003 thanks to his residency at Rex Club, mythical underground club of the French capital, where he used to play at Ellen Allien’s BPitch Control parties.

Former editor-in-chief of Trax magazine and founder of the Time Has Changed record label, the Parisian producer has highlighted top artists such as Oxia, Mihai Popoviciu, The Mekanism, Dennis Cruz, Matthias Meyer and Marwan Sabb. Since 2010, he has also organized Time Has Changed parties at Rex Club, which became his real headquarters.

Timid Boy is now one of the most influent French DJs of the globally successful new House/Tech House wave. He already played in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, South Korea as well as in many European countries.

His productions have been signed on much important labels like SCI + TEC (Dubfire), Saved (Nic Fanciulli), Viva (Steve Lawler), Form (Popof), any many more. They are also unanimously acclaimed and playlisted by Seth Troxler, Solomun, Marco Carola, Laurent Garnier, Hot Since 82 or Loco Dice.

His fame has progressively reached some of the best clubs and festivals in the world: Panorama Bar, Watergate, Pacha Barcelona,  Heart Ibiza, Gazgolder Moscow, Katerblau, D-Edge, Tokyo Air, Piknic Electronic, Salon Renate, Weather Festival, Papaya Playa (Tulum), Marvelous Island, Buschwick afterhours (NYC), ZEF (Buenos Aires), Club 01 (Playa del Carmen), Bar Americas (Mexico)...
